Mary Hocking

Mary Reaney-Hocking established Reaney Design Company in Manhattan Beach in 1990. She collaborates with clients to create interiors that are sophisticated, unexpected, personal and timeless. Inspiration comes from clients’ personalities, dreams and comfort as well as from the architecture of the buildings themselves. 

Reaney-Hocking works with natural materials, modern, iconic and often vintage elements. Each project has its own unique feel but is similar in the attention to detail and understated luxury. Kitchens and bathrooms are especially designed with the client’s practical use and aesthetic pleasure in mind.

With a degree in Architecture and endless travel, she brings a deep knowledge of art and architecture to all her work. Because of her training and years of experience, collaboration with architects, builders and contractors is seamless.
